Built for a decision, not a pile of warnings
Spotted Ridge Engineering is an Australia-based independent software verification service by OC Labs. We work from one answerable question: what does your team need to know before it releases, accepts, hands over or continues investing in the software?
The result is a concise finding supported by repeatable checks, observable evidence and clear limits. If the available evidence cannot support a conclusion, the finding says so.
When an independent software check helps
- A release blocker keeps returning after attempted fixes.
- An agency or client needs evidence before accepting a handover.
- AI-generated code works in a demonstration but an important edge case remains uncertain.
- An API, database, dependency or workflow behaves differently across environments.
- A proposed repair needs a narrow regression check before deployment.
Australian pricing and scope
The standard single-issue verification is A$249. A deeper verification sprint for one agreed workflow or system slice is A$2,800. Prices are in Australian dollars and are the total standard-scope price, including any applicable GST. Larger or different work is quoted separately.
Australian teams can work in a familiar timezone and currency. Global enquiries are also welcome; include your deadline and timezone so delivery expectations can be agreed accurately.
What independent means here
We did not build the software under review, so the check is not tied to defending the original implementation. The objective is to test the agreed claim against evidence and report the result as narrowly as the evidence requires.
Independent verification complements automated scanners, internal QA and code review. It does not replace a separately scoped penetration test, regulatory assessment, safety certification or complete system audit.
Relevant specialist checks
Alongside general software regressions and integrations, Spotted Ridge Engineering has public engineering work involving autonomy, robotics, navigation and positioning. The public evidence page distinguishes controlled cases from accepted open-source contributions so you can inspect what each result actually supports.
